A doula is a trained professional who provides continuous physical, emotional, and informational support to expecting parents before, during, and after childbirth. Unlike a midwife or doctor, a doula does not perform medical procedures but ensures you feel empowered and supported.

Empower, Comfort, and Advocate
I'm Jamita!
I began my journey as a holistic doula unknowingly once I made the decision to become a parent. I had an in satiable desire to learn more about my body and its capabilities. I wanted to become the best version of myself for my baby. Because I trusted my body and spirit, became familiar with maternity healthcare, kept an open mind, and advocated for myself, I had the pregnancy, labor, and unmedicated delivery I desired.
If I could, tap into this innate ability, I knew more parents could do the same. In spite of societal conditioning, healthcare industry trends and bias, becoming a parent is a sacred, highly individualized experience.
At Golden Doula Holistic Birth Services, we advocate, educate, and support families throughout their healthy birthing journey. We strive to empower parents with knowledge and resources, providing compassionate guidance and encouragement at every step. Our goal is to create a nurturing environment where families can confidently embrace their unique birthing experiences.
